Tilt correction is an essential step in the license plate recognition system (LPR). The main goal of this article to provide a review various methods that are presented literature and used correct different types tilt appear digital image plates (LP). This theoretical survey will enable researchers have overview available implemented detection algorithms. That’s how simplify for choice determine which rotation algorithms implement while designing their LPR system. also simplifies decision choose whether combine two or more existing simply create new efficient one. doesn’t recite described models hard-narrative tale, but instead, it clarifies stage divided based on its initial steps. steps include: locating corners, finding tilting angle plate, then, correcting horizontal, vertical, sheared inclination. For stage, state-of-the-art handled each individually. As result, has been noticed line fitting, Hough transform, Randon transform most LP.
